| What's covered? |
Loss, theft, malfunction/mechanical electrical failure (after the manufacturer's warranty), and accidental damage of your wireless equipment. The wireless equipment that is claimed must have a valid IMEI or ESN and be active and registered in the carrier’s billing system at the time of the loss, theft or damage. |
| How much will be added to my monthly bill? |
$4.99 for insured standard handsets $5.99 for insured advanced, PDA or smartphones per covered wireless equipment per month. |
| How fast will I get a replacement phone? |
Typically you can pick up your replacement equipment at a store on the same day that your claim is approved. |
| What type of replacement phone will I receive? |
Your replacement phone will be new or reconditioned and of like kind and quality. Reconditioned phones may have minor cosmetic flaws. |
| What are the claim limits? |
You are limited to 2 claims in any 12-month period per wireless subscription. |
